CHANGIN' IN THE WIND
WRITTEN BY GEOFF WILDE
We said we'd get on better, with each other in our lives
I’m pretty sure by now, we both have realised
The love we had between us, has been quarantined
Maybe it's just a changin’ in the wind
The smile on your face, from another time and place
The kisses and the laughter soon misplaced
As the photograph fades, and the memories of us rescind
Maybe it's just a changin’ in the wind
An angel in the street, now lays broken and beat
Stripped of my uniform, no medals for me to keep
There's nothing sacred now, as the blood and the wine is thinned
Maybe it's just a changin’ in the wind
We sat in that park, as the evening sky grew dark
We searched for that old forgotten spark
The petals they fell, and the candle light was dimmed
Maybe it's just a changin’ in the wind
